He previously served as COO and co-founder of a tech start-up and held senior business development roles in the automotive sector. James earned his degree from the Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University.

James is the slef-proclaimed tallest member of the Lorient team, proposed to his wife on a mountain summit, and previously spent considerable time shark fishing.
