Cara oversees Lorient’s accounting, tax, and financial reporting. Before joining the firm, she spent nearly five years with Plante Moran providing assurance services to private equity and venture capital clients. She is a CPA and earned BA and MS degrees in Accounting from Michigan State University.

Cara is a former Division I basketball player and team captain who brings the same discipline and focus to her daily life. She stays active through personal training and is known for her ever-expanding sneaker collection. She values being part of a collaborative, driven team committed to delivering meaningful results.
