Stephanie DeGennaro
General Counsel
Stephanie serves as Lorient’s General Counsel, overseeing the firm’s legal strategy and supporting transactional execution and regulatory matters across Lorient’s portfolio. She works closely with the firm’s investment and operations teams to ensure robust legal frameworks are in place as Lorient partners with healthcare businesses to drive growth and improve patient outcomes.
Prior to joining Lorient, Stephanie was a partner at McDermott Will & Schultz, where she advised healthcare providers and private equity sponsors on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic agreements, with a particular focus on physician practice management companies and ambulatory surgery centers. Stephanie earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and is admitted to the Florida Bar.
