Maxie Phung
Associate
Maxie is an Associate on the Investment team. Prior to Lorient, she worked in M&A and LBO advisory at Scotiabank in New York and previously interned in Public Finance Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan. Maxie graduated summa cum laude in Economics from Brandeis University and was a visiting student at the University of Oxford.

In her free time, Maxie enjoys researching for investment ideas, traveling the world, and reflecting at her beloved temple in the Bronx NY. Her favorite part of the Lorient experience is partnering with founders and hearing the stories behind the businesses they have built – the mission that drives them, the challenges they have overcome, and the impact they have on the patients and customers they serve. She is inspired by their passion and excited to be a part of their growth journey.
