Carmen focuses her efforts on transaction execution and diligence and portfolio strategy. Prior to joining Lorient, Carmen was an investor at Juxtapose, where she focused on designing and building technology-enabled healthcare companies from inception. Previously, she was an investor at Leonard Green & Partners, where she focused on consumer and healthcare services investments. She began her career in investment banking at Citi in New York and London. She holds a B.S. of Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Beyond The Bio
A Florida native now based in New York, Carmen plays a competitive game of backgammon, will always order the fish, and once ran a 150-mile foot race across the Sahara Desert, which also happened to be her first marathon.
