Vet’s Best Friend (“VBF”), Lorient’s first Executive Partnership, was founded in 2019 as a doctor- and employee-centric alternative to traditional corporate veterinary platforms, integrating general practice animal hospitals with boarding and daycare facilities across the Northeast. Operating in a fragmented sector with strong consumer demand, VBF supported clinics with operational resources, recruiting capabilities, and scalable infrastructure, growing through add-on acquisitions, market densification, and de novo buildouts.
